Course 5: Palliative Care 1—Communication and the Patient Experience

This course illuminates the unique personal experiences of palliative patients, as well as families and healthcare providers supporting these individuals. Video scenarios are used to tell stories from Canadian perspectives. We illustrate and discuss effective interactions with palliative patients and caregivers as well as the communication skills involved. There is also a rich array of resources for you to explore.
